Description

The Historical Museum of Leather Goods represents a wonderful journey through time to relive the exciting evolution of art and fashion over the last two centuries. The Historical Leather Goods Museum was born from the passion of the Ripani family that has been producing bags and accessories for three generations. The exhibition, realized also thanks to the contribution of ancient local families, collects about 100 pieces including bags and suitcases, from 1800 to today, as well as items of indisputable historical and economic value. Some of these belonged to personalities such as Pope Paul VI, Giacomo Leopardi and Gabriele D'Annuzio. Of particular prestige, a bag of pure gold with brilliants and a 16th century Roman gradual (sacred music text).
