Switzerland is one of very few places in a world where you can spend the night in a bubble hotel<\/a>. It\u2019s exactly what it sounds like \u2013 a massive transparent bubble that pretty much serves as a mosquito shield. You will be in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by gorgeous nature and spending the night under a starry sky \u2013 it\u2019s like a small slice of heaven right there in Switzerland.<\/p>\n

Bubble hotels are perfect for people who want to feel at one in nature and who don\u2019t mind giving up on standard commodities<\/p>\n

The Thurgau Bubble-Hotel operates between March and October, with three permanent bubbles and one that changes location every two months (perfect for spontaneous people).<\/p>\n

Each bubble has a double bed, two bedside tables and a table with two stools and battery-powered lamps. Bed linen and towels are provided and the bathroom and shower and just a short walking distance from the bubble.<\/p>\n
