Top of the World
Although there are a few bridges that are much older, according to the Guinness Book of World Records, the bridge over the river Meles (commonly called Caravan പാലം) is the oldest datable bride in the world still in use. ഈ പുരാതന കമാനം കല്ല് സ്ലാബ് bridge was built sometime around 850 ബി. സി. in Izmir, Turkey. At one point, the Caravan Bridge served as the ചെക്ക് എൻട്രി പോയിന്റ് into the city of Izmir.
