ഗുല്ബര്ഗ Fort was built after the decline of the Chalukyas in the 12th century by രാജ Gulchand of the വാറങ്കൽ Kakatiyas and was expanded and improved അതിന്റെ grandest സംസ്ഥാന by the Bahmani Sultans in the 14th century. The structure is one of the ആദ്യകാല examples of the cross between the Indian and the Persian architectural styles and was built using lime മോർടർ, കരിങ്കല്ല്.
