ചരിത്രപരമായ Devgarh കോട്ട സ്ഥിതി 24 മൈൽ നിന്നും Chindwara. It is സ്ഥിതി on a hill which is അടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്ന with a deep valley ഉടുപ്പിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് സാന്ദ്രമായ reserve forest.പ്രകൃതി spread the beauty ഇവിടെ with free hands. It was the capital of 'Gond' സാമ്രാജ്യം till 18th Century and had its glory and തിളക്കം at that time. Devgarh kingdom was considered to be the biggest ആദിവാസി kingdom in Central India.It is believed that there was a secret underground ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ചുരം Devgarh to Nagpur, which was used by the kings to escape at times of emergency.There is a pretty റിസർവോയർ named 'Mortitanka' at the top of the fort.It is said that at one time വെള്ളം സംഭരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ശക്തമായി നിലകൊണ്ടു. അങ്ങനെ clear that one could have a clear view of പോലും ഒരു നാണയം കിടക്കുന്ന at its bottom.It is believed to be built by King Jatava
