മുംബൈ | The Mahakali ഗുഹകൾ ( Kondivite ഗുഹകൾ )

The Mahakali ഗുഹകൾ (also known as the Kondivite ഗുഹകൾ) are a group of 19 rock-cut monuments built between 1st century BCE and 6th century CE.ഈ are one of the oldest rock cut Buddhist monastery in Mumbai. ഈ ഗുഹകൾ have carvings of Buddha and the Buddhist mythology.ഗുഹകള് carved out of a solid black basalt റോക്ക്,(അഗ്നിപര്വ്വത കെണി breccias, അവയിലെ weathering).

ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ഗുഹ at Mahakali (ഗുഹ 9) ഉണ്ട്. ഏഴു യേശുവചനങ്ങൾ of the Buddha and figures from ബുദ്ധ പുരാണം എന്നാൽ എല്ലാ are mutilated.It is located near the junction തമ്മിലുള്ള ജോഗേഷ്വാറി_ഈസ്ട്-Vikhroli ലിങ്ക് റോഡ്, SEEPZ.
