Sono le più note della Val di Genova, conosciuta come valle delle cascate per la grande abbondanza di salti d'acqua: le cascate Nardis scendono dalla Presanella compiendo un salto che dai 921 metri scende per oltre 130 con una pendenza tra i 55 e i 65 gradi. La valle è tutta caratterizzata da terrazzamenti e scavi prodotti dall'acqua e dalla formazione glaciale che rendono il territorio particolarmente ricco di cascate.
La vaporizzazione dell'acqua all'impatto con la roccia e la particolare angolazione della luce al tramonto rendono la cascata suggestiva in ogni momento della giornata.
