So isolated and protected from the wind that it has been renamed Playa del silencio. We are in Asturias, in Cudillero, a small town that deserves a detour from Castañeras even if you are doing the Camino de Santiago. The beach, considered by many to be the most beautiful in Spain, is definitely worth a visit both for its picturesque beauty and for its clear waters that reflect the sky.
The tranquility of the place has given it its name: the Beach of Silence. To get to Playa del Silencio, you have to go to the village of Castañares. This incredible beach can only be reached on foot with a long walk (uphill only on the way back).
The road is long but worth it.
The view from the top is really breathtaking because the coast of Cudillero is unique.
