Der Telamon, eine imposante, aus weißem Marmor gehauene Statue, die in der Regel als strukturelles (Pilaster) oder dekoratives Element (Pilaster) verwendet wird, hat seit kurzem seinen Platz am Eingang des Museums gefunden. Der Telamon, der der römischen Kaiserzeit zugeschrieben wird, wurde 1971 in Terni, nur wenige Schritte vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, gefunden und unter der Leitung der Soprintendenza per i Beni Archeologici dell'Umbria restauriert. Bis heute gibt es keine Informationen über die Ausgrabung, und der Auftrag und die Bestimmung des Fundes sind immer noch unbekannt.
