Fontána, která se nachází v zahradách královského paláce Caserta, zobrazuje Ceres bohyni plodnosti polí, obklopenou nymfami , Amory, páry mloků a dvěma delfíny hrajícími whelk. Bohyně podporuje medailon Trinacria a po stranách jsou zastoupeny ve formě mužských božstev dvě sicilské řeky Anapo (starověký Alpheus) a Arethusa, nymfa Diany přeměněná na zdroj, aby unikla lásce Alpheus, která se zase změnila v řeku, aby dosáhla milovaného. Původně Ceres měl hlavu zdobenou ušima pšenice, zatímco Nereids měli v ruce uši z bronzu, které byly odstraněny během francouzské okupace. Nádherná sochařská kompozice s harmonickým pyramidálním tvarem je dílem Gaetana Salomona a byla vyrobena z carrarského mramoru a travertinového kamene v letech 1783 až 1785.
