Il corso d'acqua del Vallesinella con le sue tre cascate denominate alte, di mezzo e di sotto, scende verso valle offrendo un incantevole paesaggio, costellato anche da numerose grotte e da diversi fenomeni carsici determinati dallo scorrimento dell'acqua, che ha nel tempo costruito ponti naturali e sorgenti. Le grotte di lunghezza considerevole tra i 523 e i 386 metri sono invece raggiungibili a quote superiori, lungo le pareti del Torrione di Vallesinella e del Castelletto di Mezzo. La Vallesinella è inoltre una delle porte ad alcuni dei più noti percorsi alpinistici perché permette l'accesso ai rifugi Quintino Sella e F.F. Tuckett, la cui storia ha inizio nel 1904 e 1906. Da qui partono le vie a due classiche ascensioni, quella di Cima Brenta e del Castelletto Inferiore, e il sentiero Sosat, porzione del sentiero delle Bocchette.
