Elles sont les plus connues de la Val di Genova, connue comme la vallée des cascades en raison de la grande abondance de celles-ci : les cascades de Nardis descendent de Presanella en faisant un saut qui de 921 mètres descend pour plus de 130 avec une pente entre 55 et 65 degrés. La vallée est caractérisée par des terrassements et des excavations produits par l'eau et la formation glaciaire, qui rendent la région particulièrement riche en cascades.
La vaporisation de l'eau lors de l'impact avec la roche et l'angle particulier de la lumière au coucher du soleil rendent la cascade impressionnante à tout moment de la journée.
