Zatim se skuta ekstrahuje i svodi na trake, a zatim se okreće i radi rukama kako bi joj dao karakterističan izduženi oblik. Komadi koji se formiraju prvo se čuvaju u salamuri, a zatim pakiraju i prodaju.
