Description

It is considered the “roof of Puglia”, the highest point of the heel of Italy. From its summit è you can enjoy an exclusive landscape that embraces, almost in a single glance, the Gargano and the Tavoliere, and then again Irpinia and Maiella. The Monte Cornacchia è the massif that, from’high of its 1151 meters of’altitude, presents itself to visitors as a privileged terrace on the most beautiful villages of Daunia: from Roseto Valfortore to Faeto, from Celle San Vito to Castelluccio Valmaggiore, passing through Biccari. The Monte Cornacchia è the ideal destination for lovers of trekking and uncontaminated landscapes; it falls within the municipal territory of Biccari and rises within the’naturalistic area “Lago Pescara – Monte Cornacchia – Bosco Cerasa”
