Nacionalni park Kakadu najveći je Nacionalni park Australije, koji obuhvaća površinu zemlje koja je jednaka otprilike polovici švicarskog teritorija. Park, koji zajednički upravljaju njegovi autohtoni vlasnici-Aboridžini, štiti drevne tradicije i sklad prirodnog života regije. Smješten u australskoj regiji Aligator rivers, to je kombinacija obalnih mangrova, nizinskih poplavnih područja, pješčenjaka i gustih, raznolikih šuma.
