Eneo la Sunder Kitalu, karibu na Humayun ya Kaburi Tata na Nizamuddin Basti, kwa kiasi kikubwa ifuatavyo Mughal Grand Shina Barabara ya kuunganisha muhimu makaburi. Kubuni mazingira inalenga kuongeza tabia ya kihistoria ya kitalu, kuvutia wageni na kutoa imefumwa pedestrian uhusiano na Humayun ya Kaburi Tata.Awali inajulikana kama Azim Bagh na kujengwa na Mughals katika karne ya 16, ni kuenea zaidi ya ekari 90 (36 hekta).Mipango ya baadaye kwa lengo la kiungo maeneo ya jirani na kuendeleza ni katika India ni hifadhi kubwa kufunika 900 ekari.
Leo Sunder Kitalu ina kumi na tano ya urithi wa makaburi ya 6 ambayo ni ya UNESCO ya maeneo ya Urithi wa Dunia, ikiwa ni pamoja na Archaeological Utafiti wa India (ASI) ulinzi Sundarwala Burj, Sundarwala Mahal na Lakkarwala Burj.
Baada ya ukarabati kuanzia mwaka 2007, kitalu ilifunguliwa kwa umma kama heritage park tarehe 21 februari 2018. Sasa ina zaidi ya 300 aina ya miti, na kuifanya Delhi wa kwanza arboretum.
Wakati wa utawala wa Uingereza, kitalu ilikuwa imara na majaribio ya kuotesha mimea, ambayo alitoa yake hali yake ya sasa ya wajibu kama kitalu. &Quot;Sunder" sehemu ya jina linatokana na Sunder Burj kaburi iko katika majengo huo.
