Tarkarli is located in Malvan taluka of Sindhudurg district in Maharashtra. It is one of the most popular beaches in Maharashtra. This beach has the narrow stretch of clear blue water and finest white sand in the entire Konkan sea coast. The beach is situated at the convergence of the Karli River and the Arabian Sea. The water on this beach is so clean that in a clear weather, one can see the seabed up to a depth of 15-20 ft.
