Zelten is a typical Christmas cake from Trentino Alto Adige. Each family jealously preserves its own recipe for this special bread, which is prepared during the days of Advent and then eaten during Christmas. In essence, it is a fruit bread, a mix of oriental spices, fruits of the South and South Tyrolean goodness.
