Descrizione

By many, this museum is considered one of the best attractions in the city. Located on the banks of the Pregolya River, it has only a couple of exhibition halls, because most of the exhibits are displayed outdoors. These are ships and vessels moored along the river, but also a submarine.

A visit to the vessel Vityaz, which was once used for Prussian scientific expeditions, will make you feel like a real explorer. The most unforgettable attraction, however, is the B-413 submarine. Its cramped and efficiently organized spaces will make you feel like one of its 300 crew members.

On board, you can see the submarine's electronic instruments, sonar, engines, internal piping and many other details. A visit to the compartments may feel claustrophobic at first, but this will be quickly overcome by the excitement of climbing down the hatches and up the stairs leading from one compartment to another.
