Sky Mirror es un plato cóncavo de 6 metros de ancho (20 pies) de acero inoxidable pulido que pesa 10 toneladas (9,8 toneladas largas) y está inclinado hacia el cielo. Su superficie refleja el entorno siempre cambiante.
Desde la idea inicial de una nueva pieza de arte público hasta la inauguración de Sky Mirror, el 27 de abril de 2001, pasaron seis años y costó 900.000 libras. En su momento, fue la obra de arte cívico más cara financiada por la Lotería Nacional. Se fabricó en Finlandia.
