Dolomites | The little church of San Giovanni in Ranui

The little church of San Giovanni in Ranui, stands out like a rare diamond among the green meadows of the Dolomites. A lovely structure characterized by a double-pitched roof covered with shingles, a choir on three sides and a bell tower on the northeast corner of the building. To give an even more fairy-tale touch to the building, there is an onion-shaped dome made of copper and crowned by a fairy-tale star.
