In Sciacca, Sicily, there is an estate where an imaginary and enchanted world survives, sprung from the mind of a man mad with love. Among olive and almond trees thousands of years old, dozens of statues observe the astonished visitor; they are carved in the rock, hidden in the trunks, mute.It is the mad scream of pain launched by Filippo Bentivegna who, torn in heart and mind by an unrequited love, vented his illness in an impulsive and brutal art, unaware, petrified.
