Located in the center of Alexanderplatz, this fountain was designed by Walter Womacka in 1970. Decorated with colorful paintings, the base of the fountain depicts doves and flowers, symbols of peace. It is surrounded by a small wall for sitting, usually filled with people who gather here especially in summer, looking for a place to cool off. It is also a popular meeting place.
