La cascata Cachoeira da Toca

The Cachoeira da Toca waterfall is located on the east side of the island, near Castelhanos beach, and can be reached via a hiking trail that takes about 1 hour. The path to the waterfall traverses a breathtaking landscape and varies between forested areas and streams. The waterfall has a series of natural pools and a water drop of about 30 meters, which creates a pleasant mist at the point of arrival. The trail is challenging and requires some physical fitness, but the beauty of the waterfall and surrounding landscape is definitely worth it.
