The museum is definitely one of the best things to see in Riva del Garda with children: it is divided into sections dedicated to archaeology, paintings and life around the lake in the past, and there are entire sections dedicated to children that offer many hands-on exhibits.
Another reason to visit this museum is to climb the Mastio, the highest tower which offers a splendid view of the lake.
