In the house of the Carrino family, also called "Biblioteca Beethoveniana", there is a real museum.The Biblioteca Beethoveniana: a large private collection that preserves historical and artistic testimonies about the great composer Ludwig van Beethoven (Bonn 1770 - Vienna 1827), his works and his myth from the beginning of the 19th century to today. It is a large museum (more than 11,000 original and authenticated pieces), founded by the Carrino family (Sergio, with his wife Giuliana and son Ludovico) in more than forty years of tireless and passionate research all over the world, which the director of the Beethoven-Haus in Bonn has defined as unique in the world for its size and orientation. The collection is organized into twelve collections displayed in the fascinating rooms of the house museum: more than 150 sculptures and paintings, 800 art graphics, 350 exlibris, 2,700 vintage and modern postcards, 1,400 stamps, 550 medals, 4,500 publications (first editions and original editions) on the life and works, as well as original scores, art objects, vintage photos, masks, hall programs, figurines, an amazing collection of advertisements and recalls, and even coffee, wine and sweets dedicated to Beethoven (prepared in-house). The Beethovenian Library has won prestigious international awards and mentions: it has been invited to exhibit its collections in Bonn (Beethoven-Haus, 2013) and Paris (Philharmonie de Paris, Musée de la Musique, 2017), and maintains collaborations with the MUK and the Wien Museum in Vienna.
