This Privacy Policy for users describes the methods of acquisition, use, transmission, storage and protection of personal information. This document applies to all Secret World sites that include this Privacy Notice for users in the footer as well as to any Sworld application, service or tool (collectively "Services") in which reference is made to the Privacy Notice for users, regardless of how they are accessed and used, including via mobile devices.

By using our Services and/or registering for a Secret World account, you agree to the terms of this User Privacy Policy. You also consent to the collection, use, transmission, retention and protection of personal information as described in the Privacy Notice for users.

If you do not provide the requested information, you may not be able to use all of our Services.

The company with which you contract is the data controller and is responsible for the collection, use, transmission, retention and protection of personal information in accordance with our global privacy standards and the laws current national. The data controller may transfer the data to other subjects of the Sworld Tech Ltd Group. Sworld Tech Ltd. can process and store personal information on its own servers in Italy and in other parts of the world where our data centers are located.

Personal information "Personal information" means information and/or data which can be associated with a specific individual and which could be used to identify that individual, including in combination with other data held by Sworld Tech Ltd to which Sworld Tech Ltd may have access. Information made anonymous or aggregated in such a way as to no longer allow the identification of a specific physical person, even in combination with other information or in other ways, is not considered personal.

Changes to the Privacy Policy for users We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy for users at any time by publishing the relative provisions on the site. All revised forecasts take effect 30 days after posting. Any material changes to this User Privacy Policy will be announced in the Messages area of Secret World and/or by email.

Data collection

Sworld Tech Ltd, processes and retains personal information entered manually by you and/or automatically acquired via devices (including mobile devices) when: you use our Services, register an account, provide data to Secret World in a web form, update or add information to your account, participate in community discussions, chat, dispute resolution, or otherwise contact Secret World about our Services.

The personal information collected includes the following:

Personal information that you provide when you use our Services or register for an account.

Identifying information such as name, addresses, telephone numbers or email addresses, provided when you register for an account.

Information related to offers, purchases or sales, provided during a transaction or other transaction-based content generated or connected to your account as a result of a transaction in which you have participated.

Other content generated by you or connected to your account (such as adding items to your cart or Items You Watch, creating collections and the collections and sellers you follow).

Financial information (such as credit card or bank account numbers) in connection with a transaction.

Shipping, billing and other information used to buy or offer to sell an item, as well as, where postal services are provided through one of our programs, information required for customs clearance (such as tax codes or other tracking numbers) and shipping information (such as shipping codes and related updates ornaments).

In some cases, when you use our Services, you may indicate your age, gender, interests and preferences.

You may also provide other information through web forms, by updating or adding information in your account, by participating in community discussions, chatting, resolving disputes, or when otherwise contacting Sworld Tech Ltd regarding our Services.

Other information that Secret World is required or authorized to collect and process, pursuant to applicable national laws, for the purpose of authenticating or identifying the user or verifying the information collected.

Personal information collected automatically when you use our Services or register an account.

We also collect information about your interaction with our Services, your advertising settings, and your communications with Secret World. This is information collected through the devices (including mobile devices) you use when you use our Services, register an account, provide data to Sworld Tech Ltd in a web form, update or add information to your account, participate in discussions chat, dispute resolution, or otherwise contact Secret World about our Services. This information includes the following: device ID or unique identifier, device type, ad ID, and unique device token.

Geolocation information, including location data acquired through your mobile device. We remind you that most mobile devices allow you to control or disable the use of location services by installed applications through the settings menu.

Information about your computer and connection, such as statistics about page views, traffic to and from sites, referring URLs, ad data, IP address, browser history, and web log data.

Personal information acquired through cookies, web beacons and similar technologies.

We use cookies, web beacons, unique identifiers and other similar technologies to collect information about the pages and links you visit and other actions you take through our Services, within advertising or email content.

Personal information from other sources.

We may integrate the information acquired with data from third parties and add it to your account information. For example, we may collect and use publicly available demographic data, additional contact information, credit check data, and creditworthiness information provided by law enforcement agencies, in accordance with applicable national laws.

We may allow you to share information with social media sites, or to use such sites to create an account or to link your account to the relevant social media site. These social media may authorize Secret World to automatically access certain personal information in their possession (for example, content you have visited or that you particularly like, and data on the ads you have been shown and clicked on, etc.). If you provide us with access to sites with video content, you authorize us to share your video viewing activities with third party social media or obtain information from them about the videos you have watched for at least two years or until you decide not to consent to the processing. You have the ability to control the personal information you allow us to access through the privacy settings available in the relevant social media, as well as the permissions/consents provided when you allow access to your personal information processed by such social media. By associating social media accounts with your Secret World account and authorizing us to access that information, you consent to the collection, use, and retention of information provided by those social media in accordance with this User Privacy Notice.

You may only provide us with information about another person with their explicit prior consent. You must inform that person about how we collect, use, transmit and store personal information in accordance with this Privacy Notice for users.

Safety

We protect your information using technological and managerial security measures designed to reduce the risk of loss. a, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure and alteration. Some of the security systems we use include firewalls, data encryption, physical access controls to our data centers, and information access authorization controls.
