Secret World Review 2026: Tested in Prague, Does It Work? - Praga | Secret World Trip Planner

I had three days in Prague and a list of places to see as long as the Charles Bridge: the Castle, the Jewish Quarter, Vinohrady, the markets at Náměstí Míru, a beer at Lokál, maybe even a trip to Kutná Hora. The problem was not finding the information — there’s too much on Google — but figuring out how to fit everything in without spending two hours a day on the metro or ending up eating at a tourist trap in Old Town Square. It was in this context that I decided to test Secret World AI Trip Planner in 2026, and what I found surprised me enough to write about it.

I’m not the type to blindly trust travel apps. I used Google Trips (now defunct), I argued with Roadtrippers, I found TripAdvisor useful but slow to navigate. Secret World promises something different: an AI-based planner that builds personalized itineraries taking into account real distances, opening hours, and specific preferences. I put it to the test in Prague, a city I know well enough to tell if the suggestions were sensible or copied from a 2019 blog.

What I asked the AI and how it responded

I started with a specific request: three days in Prague, mid-range budget (about €80-100 per day all inclusive), interest in architecture, Jewish history, and local cuisine, zero desire to wait in line for more than twenty minutes. The AI from Secret World generated an itinerary in less than forty seconds. The first day started at Prague Castle at 9:00 AM — correct, it's the right time to avoid the crowd — with an estimated visit of three and a half hours for the complete complex, St. Vitus Cathedral included. Indicated price: 250 Czech crowns for the circuit B ticket, about €10. Accurate.

The thing that struck me is that the AI did not just list attractions: it suggested descending from the Castle through the Malá Strana district instead of going back, passing through Nerudova Street, and having lunch at Café Savoy on Vítězná — not the first place you find on TripAdvisor, but one of the best for classic Czech cuisine at still reasonable prices (goulash and svíčková around €18-22). The afternoon included Charles Bridge and the Jewish quarter of Josefov, with the warning that tickets for the Old Jewish Cemetery must be purchased online in advance (350 crowns, about €14). Concrete details, not obviousness.

Pro: where Secret World really works well

The most obvious strength is the spatial logistics. The itinerary generated for the second day — Vinohrady, Žižkov, and the Television Tower with David Černý's babies — had a geographical coherence that no paper guide would have constructed so well. The Tower is about 1.2 km from Náměstí Míru, walkable in fifteen minutes. The AI knew this and integrated it without me having to ask. It also suggested visiting the Tower at sunset (entrance 180 crowns, about €7) for the best light on the city — a tip from a photographer, not from a generic algorithm.

Another strong point: the personalization works. I made the request again saying that I hated traditional museums and wanted more time to walk and eat. The itinerary changed substantially, not cosmetically. The National Museum and the Mucha Museum disappeared, and the Jiřák Market on Saturday morning and a walk along the river to Nusle appeared. Secret World shows that it really listens to preferences, not applying a fixed template.

Cons: the limitations I found

Not everything works perfectly. The system struggles with real-time bookings: it can tell you that the restaurant Eska on Křižíkova is among the best in Prague for contemporary Czech cuisine (expect 40-50€ per person), but it does not integrate with OpenTable or local booking systems. You have to exit the app to complete the action. For 2026, this is a noticeable gap, especially when compared to Wanderlog, which has started to integrate direct bookings.

A second limitation concerns seasonal updates. I noticed that some hours indicated for attractions in Prague were winter hours, not summer ones. Prague Castle in summer closes the gardens at 9:00 PM, not at 6:00 PM as indicated in the itinerary. It’s not a serious mistake, but it suggests that the database does not update in real time. Always check the hours directly on the official websites before you go.

Comparison with competitors and final vote

I used Wanderlog and TripIt on the same trip to Prague. Wanderlog is more comprehensive in managing travel documents and collaborative maps, but its AI produces more generic and less refined itineraries in logistics. TripIt is excellent for organizing flights and hotels, but it does not generate tourist itineraries. Secret World occupies a specific niche — intelligent time planning in the city — and in that niche, it is the best I have tested in 2026.

The vote is 9/10. I take off one point for the limitations in integration with bookings and for some inaccuracies in timings. But the quality of the itineraries, geographical consistency, real customization capability, and response speed make it a genuinely useful tool. If you are planning a trip to Prague — or any other European city with a dense historical heritage — Secret World saves you hours of research and gives you a solid starting structure. Try Secret World for free on the official website: the basic plan already covers everything needed for a three or four-day trip.
