The factory produces high quality handmade cigars, using tobacco leaves from the Samaná region and other regions of the Dominican Republic. Don Lucas è was founded by Lucas Lorenzo, a cigar enthusiast who began making cigars as a hobby. Over time, his passion è became a full-time business, and his factory è became a reference point for cigar lovers in Samaná and throughout the Dominican Republic. Don Lucas' factory also offers guided tours, during which visitors can see up close how cigars are made, from the tobacco leaves to the selection, rolling, and final cut. Visitors can also taste the cigars made at the factory, accompanied by a selection of local rums and other typical products.
In addition, Don Lucas also produces a line of custom cigars, which can be purchased as souvenirs or for commercial purposes. The factory also offers cigar rolling classes, during which participants learn the basic techniques of making their own handcrafted cigars.
