Limón Cathedral, officially known as St. Peter and Paul Cathedral, is a Catholic church located in the city of Limón, Costa Rica. The cathedral was built in 1940, after the previous building was destroyed by an earthquake in 1910.The cathedral was designed in the neoclassical style by renowned Costa Rican architect Luis Llach, who has designed many important buildings throughout Costa Rica.
