But then again, you may be out of breath hiking up this peak. From on top of Lantau Peak, you’ll be treated to panoramic views of Lantau’s best beaches, the Big Buddha, Tung Chung, Hong Kong Airport, and even Castle Peak, and Hong Kong Island! There are a few hiking trails to the summit of Lantau Peak, the easiest of which is the one on Lantau Trail Section 3, between Pak Kung Au to Ngong Ping. The other more difficult trails include the ones from West Dog Teeth, and Middle Dog Teeth, collectively known as the Dog Teeth Range (“Kau Nga Ling”).
