The Kalaram Temple in Nashik

The Kalaram ക്ഷേത്രം ഒരു പഴയ ഹിന്ദു shrine dedicated to യഹോവ Rama in the Panchavati പ്രദേശത്ത് Nashik City in Maharashtra, India. It is one of the most important Hindu shrine in the city. ക്ഷേത്രം derives its name from the statue of യഹോവ രാമ that is black in colour. The പദാനുപദമായ translation of Kalaram എന്നാണ് കറുത്ത Rama. The sanctum sanctorum also houses the പ്രതിമകൾ സീത ദേവി and ലക്ഷ്മണൻ. Thousands of devotees visit it every day. The temple was funded by സര്ദാര് Rangarao Odhekar. It was built around in 1792. It was said that സര്ദാര് Odhekar had a dream that the statue of Rama in black colour is there in the river Godavari. Odhekar എടുത്തു പ്രതിമകൾ നിന്ന് നദി and built the temple.
