Tower of ഹെർക്കുലീസ് is the oldest surviving വിളക്കുമാടം

Although there were other പുരാതന lighthouses, the Tower of ഹെർക്കുലീസ് is the oldest surviving വിളക്കുമാടം in the world. The exact date of the tower ' s construction is unknown, but records show that it has കൊടുക്കാൻ വേണ്ട since at least the 2nd century CE.
