Mt Gambier is a large Town 450km South East of Adelaide. Its on the Lime Stone Coast. Pine Tree Country. But it has the Blue Lake, a huge crater , with the Bluest water anywhere. Then hidden in a Valley across the road is The Valley Lakes, the locals have been swimming there for Generations, its beautiful, and peaceful. Even better, hidden in the centre of town there is a large Sink Hole, its been made spectacular. It's a lovely Town.

Port McDonnell is at the absolute bottom of Australia. The winds blow in from the Arctic . The beaches are cold, and windy, and the water rough, however you could believe you were the only person alive. It is stunning. The Drive down to Port McDonnell from Mt Gambier , now I haven't done it for a few years but, the drive was through green, lush farm land. It's worth a look. Don't miss the sink hole in Mt Gambier
