Rostock Water Tower is a water tower youth center and load-bearing masonry tower that was completed in 1903. It is a representative example of the brick Gothic with its six gables and seven towers. The 115 year old symbol of the harbour city is going to be extensively restored. The outer brick layer will be repaired in the following two years due to a deficient impermeability. The cause for this deficiency was an incorrect restoration in the 90s.
