Bil-Bil Castle is one of Benalmádena’s most emblematic architectural structures. It was built in 1927 in the Moorish architectural style to look like a defensive fortress. Its cubic shape structurally forms from a patio that serves as the distribution centre of all the architectural space.
Its intense reddish exterior reminds us of Mudéjar architecture with tiles and bas-reliefs paying homage to Nasrid traditions. The building belongs to the Benalmádena municipal authorities and became a cultural and institutional building with five rooms and a beautiful central courtyard.
