The premises of the former convent of St. Francis houses the Civic Museum named after Michele Janora (distinguished local historian). In the small and interesting museum it is possible to admire some pieces of the rich collection put together by the patient research and collection work carried out by the scholar during his short life.The collection includes numerous archaeological finds, from necropolis or individual tombs, dating from the Neolithic to the late Roman period.Among the most valuable objects in the collection is the red-figure goblet crater depicting the fight between Bellerophon and the Chimera, dating from the first quarter of the 4th century BCE.
