The Winter Promenade is characterized by the "Wandelhalle," an arcade with a gallery of paintings depicting South Tyrolean landscapes and busts of personalities significant to the city. The Wandelhalle, 90 meters long and 4 meters wide, was built in 1891. At the end of the Wandelhalle, therapeutic drinks made of whey and grape juice were distributed.
