Monteisola ,Italy's largest lake island ,located in Lake Iseo ,is home to Peschiera Maraglio ,one of the most beautiful villages in Italy .In this picturesque village it is still possible to savor the traditions linked to the past ,especially the history of fishermen ,with the production of fishing nets and the construction of the fisherman's boat called the "naet." The traces of history and legends can be breathed through the narrow alleys,houses,arches and stairs that lead to the lake,alternating with stately villas of noble families such as the Oldofredi Castle .In Peschiera arose the first nets that later spread throughout the island,some of which are still present today,along with shipyards where expert carpenters and shipwrights build wooden boats by hand. Several paths depart from this village that allow you to reach the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Ceriola ,located on the top of the island and the walking or biking tour of Monteisola .It is also possible to take a boat tour of the three islands that rim Lake Iseo , Monteisola ,Loreto and S.
