Top of the World
Conceived and donated (the first section) by the famous physician Dr. Tappeiner, the Tappeiner Promenade has been running through Merano for 150 years and, despite its age, has not lost any of its popularity - on the contrary! Every day and in every season, the people of Merano escape from their daily stress here. The 8 km long, well-kept Tappeiner Promenade is home to around 400 different plants and can be reached from various points in the center of Merano and from Gratsch (Quarazze).
