The tower at the top of the waterfall

On both sides of the fountain of Diana and Actaeon in the gardens of the Royal Palace of Caserta there are two staircases that lead you to the top of the waterfall, where you can find a small artificial cave, designed by Vanvitelli to be used as a gazebo, given the spectacular view that extends from the territory of Caserta to Naples, demonstrating the so-called "telescope effect" of Vanvitelli.
