The towers are the visible remains of the fortress ഉത്തരവിട്ടു in 920 by the bishop of അദ്രിയക്കടലിൽ and finished in 954. Under the direction of Estense in 1160, the walls and the keep together with eight other towers and the perimeter മോആത്ത് completed the castle. ടൊറെ Donà and ടൊറെ Grimani ഇന്ന് make up the remains of the walls of the castle of Rovigo.
