Azzurrina's Ghost in Montebello Castle

Montebello Castle is the scene of a well-known legend concerning the apparitions of the ghost of Azzurrina. Guendalina, the albino daughter of feudal lord Ugolinuccio, who was called Azzurrina because of the blue highlights in her hair (her mother dyed her hair to hide her condition). One evening during a stormy day the little girl disappeared under mysterious circumstances and was never found again. Since then her ghost has roamed the rooms of the castle.
