The renowned Roemer- and Pelizaeus-Museum, with its world-famous Ancient Egyptian collection, one of the largest Ancient Peruvian collections in Europe and the impressive paleontological collection has a distinguished reputation that goes far beyond the borders of the region. The museum’s ancient Egyptian collection comprises around 9,000 objects from all epochs, ranging from Egypt’s pre-historical era to the Roman and Christian age.
