Castle of Bornato and Villa Orlando

In the heart of Franciacorta, among rolling hills of vineyards, dominates Bornato Castle and Villa Orlando, a very rare example of a Renaissance villa built inside a medieval castle. The mansion's panoramic position allows the view to sweep over the Po Valley and glimpses, on clear days, of the Apennines. The castle is open for guided tours from mid-March to mid-November, every Sunday and holiday from 10 a.m. to noon and 2:30 to 6 p.m. (October and November h. 5 p.m.).
