It is the fourth smallest Italian municipality in terms of surface area and the least extensive in Campania, after Atrani. It is also called "Conca dei gradini" this small town that invites to romantic promenades, climbing "scalinatelle" that lead to the sky and looking at the sea from above. The most panoramic walk is the one that from the path "of the five essences" (the vine, the lemon, the olive tree, the carob and the pomegranate) leads to the church of Sant'Antonio, then to the one of the "five essences". of San Michele and then to a small sacred shrine at the edge of a rock from which you can see the impressive precipices of Furore, which are lost in the shadow of a wild gorge. The emerald cave nestled in the bay of Conca was discovered in 1932 by a fisherman who, until his death, wore a band with the inscription: "discoverer of the cave". It can be reached from the national road, by lift or stairs, or from the sea.
