Wind Cave

Situated in the middle of one of the most rugged and wild areas of the Apuan Alps, the Grotta del Vento, with its extraordinary variety of aspects, offers the visitor a complete panorama of underground karst: the result of an evolutionary process that began 20 million years ago and has not yet ended.

Equipped since 1967 with comfortable paths, it offers anyone the opportunity to admire the wonders of the underground world in conditions of absolute safety. Accompanied by expert guides you can visit three different itineraries, respectively of one, two and three hours, which reach environments with evocative names, the Lake of Crystals, the Hall of the Pendant, the abyss of the Giants, the river Acheronte, the Hall of Wonders. The temperature in the cave is +11 °C.
