The church of Materdomini, like that of the Holy Spirit, stands in the immediate vicinity of the Foggiali area: it is located to the left of the three arches that from Piazza Vittorio Veneto open the view of the Sassi. Local chroniclers date the construction of the church to 1680 and attribute the commission to the Commendatore of the Knights of Malta, Silvio Zurla.
